Skills:

High school Sewa LEAD volunteers should have a good understanding of K–8 subjects and communicate clearly and patiently with students. They are expected to be respectful, reliable, and work well as part of a team with tutors and AmeriCorps members. Volunteers should be comfortable using virtual learning platforms, follow directions, take initiative when needed, and maintain a positive, empathetic attitude. Openness to feedback, willingness to learn, and flexibility in supporting different grades is expected.
