Sewa Day of Service – A project by Sewa International USA
Honoring Heroes: Uniting through Service to Build Resilient Communities!
Sewa International is a Hindu faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to
humanitarian service. We aid communities in distress, undertake developmental projects
for the underserved, and facilitate transformative change through innovation. We do this
by mobilizing donors, partners, and volunteers.
Our SERVE program promotes volunteerism, bringing together individuals of diverse
backgrounds to serve local communities through initiatives like food distribution,
clean-up of public spaces, planting trees, and clothing drives.
To broaden our impact, the SERVE team is dedicated to honoring heroes, first responders,
and 9/11 victims through Sewa Day of Service initiatives. Observed every September 11,
this aligns with the National Day of Service and Remembrance. By uniting in service, we
seek to bridge divides and strengthen community bonds.
